Dilip Kumars final journey Legendary actor laid to rest in Juhu Qabrastan with full state honours
Several members of the film industry had arrived hours after Dilip Kumars mortal remains were brought to his Bandra residence. Among the first to reach the residence were Shabana Azmi Vidya Balan and husband Siddharth Roy Kapur and Dharmendra who was seen sobbing. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was also seen at the late actors residence to pay his last respect.Known as the tragedy king in Indian cinema Dilip Kumar acted in over 65 films in his legendary career. Kumar made his acting debut in 1944 with Jwar Bhata. Three years after the 1947 drama Jugnu opposite Noor Jehan was the first major hit for Kumar.
