Himachal Pradesh Cloudburst triggers flash floods in Dharamshala, causes severe damage in Bhagsu Nag

Incessant rainfall continues to batter parts of Himachal Pradesh while an incident of cloudburst was reported in Dharamshala, triggering a flood-like situation.

A cloudburst triggered flash floods near McLeodganj in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala due to incessant rainfall and caused severe damages to the public properties in Bhagsu village.The state has been receiving heavy rainfall for the last few days. Several cars were swept away and hotels were damaged after the flash floods. Besides, around 10 shops were also damaged as the Manjhi River raged following the heavy rainfall in the state.

The National Highway was blocked near Jhakri in the Rampur area of Shimla district following the heavy rainfall.
