IFFI delayed to January, to be held in cross breed design: I&B Ministry
The India International Film Festival (IFFI), which was booked for the most recent seven day stretch of November, has been deferred to January.
The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said Thursday that the film celebration will be held between January 16 and 24. It will be directed in a cross breed design, with physical and virtual screenings, to follow Covid-19 convention.
"The 51st Edition of the International Film Festival of India planned to be held at Goa from twentieth November to 28th November, 2020 has been deferred to sixteenth to 24th January, 2021," the I&B Ministry said in an announcement. "The choice has been shown up at," it stated, after I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar "talked about the issue" with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
"It has additionally been mutually chosen to hold the celebration from sixteenth to 24th January, 2021 at Goa according to the International Film Festival rules and conventions. The celebration will be led in a Hybrid configuration for example Virtual and Physical configuration… "
IFFI is the administration's lead film celebration.
