Jimmy Shergill booked for flouting Covid rules while shooting for web series in Punjab
The Ludhiana police has booked an FIR against Jimmy Shergill for flouting Covid-19 rules. The actor is accused of defying the Covid lockdown while shooting for the web series, Your Honor 2, in a private school in Ludhiana, Punjab.
JIMMY SHERGILL BOOKED FOR VIOLATING COVID-19 RULES
While shooting, Jimmy, along with all the crew members of the show, didn’t follow the Covid-19 rules and regulations. In fact, the shooting went on even after 8 pm, two hours after curfew was enforced. When the police was notified about the same, they reached the spot and found more than 100 people at the location of the shoot. A case was later filed against Jimmy and all the crew members.

Your Honor is set in the city of Ludhiana, Punjab. The plot revolves around an honest court judge named Bishan Khosla (played by Jimmy Shergill) and his teenage son who gets involved in a hit and run car accident. The cast also includes Mita Vashisht, Parul Gulati, Pulkit Makol, Yashpal Sharma, Richa Pallod, Varun Badola, Mahabir Bhullar, Suhasini Mulay and Kunj Anand in prominent roles.

Jimmy Shergill began his film career with the 1996 thriller Maachis. He has worked in several hit films such as Mohabbatein, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Hum Tum, A Wednesday!, Tanu Weds Manu, Special 26, Happy Bhag Jayegi and De De Pyaar De. Jimmy made his Punjabi film debut with Yaaran Naal Baharan in 2005. His notable work in Punjabi cinema include Mel Karade Rabba, Dharti, Aa Gaye Munde U.K. De, Shareek and Daana Paani.
