Mandakini is prepping for a comeback to Bollywood Exclusive
It was Mandakinis brother Bhanu who convinced her to return to acting. Bhanu said When she would visit Durga Puja pandals in Kolkata I could see that she still has a huge fan following. So I told her that she must start acting again. She was offered the central role in a serial called Chhoti Sardani which Mandakini refused but she suggested Anita Raajs name for the role instead.Her manager also revealed that Mandakini has expressed her desire to interact with the media at a later date, as right now she is focussed on identifying her comeback project. She wants to make sure that she chooses the best project for her return to Bollywood.Mandakinis last film was in Bengali titled Se Amar Prem' which released in 2002. In a career spanning 17 years the actress worked in 48 films.
