The entertainment world today lost a very fine artist Surekha Sikri. The three-time national award winning actress passed away earlier this morning due to cardiac arrest. She has been a part of a number of classic Hindi movies and popular television series. And as she moved from the mortal world to the heavenly abode she left behind a legacy of her exemplary work which will be a guiding light for generations to come. This is not just our thought but the words of Punjabi singer Ramji Gulati who in his recent chat with ETimes expressed his grief over Saurekha Sikri demise.

I am very sad to hear about the demise of Surekha Sikri Ji. Today, our country has lost one of its greatest talents. I grew up watching her performances on television and in movies. Her work has been flawless right from the beginning of her career until her last performance  said Ramji.Surekha Sikri ji will be an inspiration for generations to come added the singer.I really hope her soul finds peace and her family is blessed with the courage to fight these difficult times Ramji said with a heavy heart.
