Saif Ali Khan was born on August 16, 1970, in New Delhi, India. He is the son of the former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and the actress Sharmila Tagore. Khan comes from a family of royalty, as his father was the last ruling Nawab of the princely state of Pataudi.
