"Systematic Attack On Farmers": Rahul Gandhi On Mayhem At UP Protest
New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, prevented authorization to visit the families from getting ranchers who were killed in the savagery hit Uttar Pradesh locale, today avowed that he will visit Lucknow alongside two Congress Chief Minsters.
"Ranchers are being cut somewhere around a jeep, they are being killed, and the name of an association pastor and his child is coming up in the Lakhimpur Kheri occurrence. Recently, PM visited Lucknow yet he didn't visit Lakhimpur Kheri. It is a methodical assault on ranchers," said Rahul Gandhi fronting a question and answer session in front of his visit.
PM Modi, who was in Lucknow to introduce Azadi@75 gathering, avoided the discussion.
A SUV, supposedly determined by a Union Minister's child, ran over motto yelling ranchers fighting the visit of the Minister in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday. Eight individuals, including four ranchers, were killed in the occurrence.
"There used to be vote based system, there is autocracy in India now. Lawmakers can't go to Uttar Pradesh. We are being told since yesterday that we can't go to Uttar Pradesh," Mr Gandhi said.
"Hindustan ki awaaz ko kuchla jaa raha hai (The voice of Hindustan is being gagged)," said the 51-year-old pioneer.
Asked about for what reason he demands going, Rahul Gandhi shot back with "I need to comprehend the ground reality".
"It is an account. There is a cutoff to this story. Eventually there will be a blast. We are attempting to tell them don't do this. We are pushing for keeping up with the popularity based framework. We are attempting to give them certainty that in this country you can't be run over by a child of a priest. Today those families and ranchers don't have that expectation, we will give them that expectation," he said.
The Congress, in a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, brought up that an assignment of five Trinamool Congress MPs, joined by their party laborers, visited the groups of the dead ranchers in Lakhimpur Kheri.
Additionally, the party highlighted that Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad, alongside many party laborers, likewise visited the UP area yesterday and gave Television interviews.

Lucknow Police Commissioner DK Thakur told news office PTI that the Uttar Pradesh government has not given consent for Mr Gandhi's visit, and he won't be permitted to go to Sitapur or Lakhimpur.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has held up a body of evidence against Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra's child Ashish, affirmed to be in the driving seat of the SUV that ran over ranchers, however no capture has been made up until now.
